Job summary

The YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a magnetic, meticulous Member Services Representative to deliver outstanding service to members, guests and program participants. You will greet visitors, answer general questions, assist with membership changes or transactions, and contribute to membership sales by giving tours and promoting programs.

Under the direction of the Membership Director, the trainee will work toward meeting all requirements of the Member Specialist I within 60 days, building

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• College degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience required.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification preferred; training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, assist with membership changes or transactions, and answer general questions.
• Conduct facility tours to promote programs and memberships.
• Assist with membership receipting and program registrations in Active.
• Handle member inquiries by phone and in person; maintain organized records.
• Support relationship-building activities and member appreciation initiatives.
