Job summary

The YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a magnetic, meticulous Member Service superhero to deliver exceptional customer service to members, guests and program participants.

The role focuses on greeting, assisting with membership changes or transactions, and contributing to membership sales through tours and program information. Strong communication, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• College degree with emphasis in Marketing or Communications preferred.
• At least 1 year previous Member Relations Associate or customer service experience required.
• Broad overview of the YMCA as it operates as a local, national and international movement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment and educate members about YMCA services.
• Assist at welcome desk with membership receipting and information requests.
• Conduct facility tours and follow up on tours.
• Handle phone inquiries regarding membership and program information.
• Assist with program registrations and input data into Active.net.
• Support with retention activities and data audits.
