Job summary

Thomsen Foodservice in Rumford, RI is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to lead overnight warehouse operations. You will guide associates, ensure safety, and drive accuracy and on-time shipping.

You will monitor receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, coach staff, enforce OSHA and food safety standards, and report shift performance to management. This role builds inventory integrity and supports reliable distribution across our regional network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory controls.
• Proficient in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO stock rotation, and resolve operational issues.
• Enforce OSHA and food safety standards, conduct safety checks, and participate in audits.
• Track team productivity and accuracy KPIs and communicate shift performance to management.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

As a Night Warehouse Supervisor, you will help lead overnight warehouse operations by guiding associates, supporting workflow execution, and ensuring the shift runs safely, accurately, and on schedule. This role has a direct impact on team performance, inventory integrity, and the overall reliability of warehouse and distribution activity, while serving as an important link between frontline operations and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse associates during assigned shifts
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety procedures
• Monitor receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes for accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO stock rotation, and resolve operational issues while escalating complex problems to warehouse management
• Enforce OSHA and food safety standards, conduct safety checks, and participate in audits
• Track team productivity and accuracy KPIs and communicate shift performance and operational issues to management
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a warehouse supervisory role
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices
• Proficient in English
• Able to work in varying temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Available to work Sunday night through Thursday night and remain on shift until night work is completed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in foodservice warehouse operations
