Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations supervisor to lead night warehouse activities, including order selection, replenishment, and loading. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and productivity while directing assigned staff across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, budget adherence, and compliance with HAACP and other regulations. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to train and develop a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Education and experience minimums noted: high school/GED or equivalent, with preferred business/SCM degree.
• Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Certification: Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of night warehouse staff including selectors, loaders and night forklift operators.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules including extra days and shifts as needed.
• Utilize company assets and coordinate repairs with proper departments.
• Review night warehouse productivity and regulatory documentation (HAACP, food safety, catch-weight).
• Train new associates and cross-train existing staff.
• Maintain associate relations and regular department communications.
• Enforce policies; conduct safety inspections and assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Perform staff selection, development, and performance reviews.
