Job summary

Staples, Inc. in Gresham, Oregon is seeking a Warehouse SC2 associate to support six warehouse roles, including Bulk Equipment Operator, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.

The job emphasizes safety, accurate handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and more, while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse while following safety procedures.
• Move product within the warehouse with safety procedures, using material handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, and shipping activities as described.
• Unload trucks and palletize products, verify quantities, and address discrepancies or damages.
• Support safe work practices and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
• May rotate into SC1 roles as needed to meet business demands.
