Job summary

Staples, Inc. in Portland seeks a Warehouse Associate to join our world class supply chain team.

You may work in six areas, including Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping, with flexibility to move between positions as needed. Safety is a top priority; you will operate material handling equipment, lift 70–100 lbs, stand and walk continuously, and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If hired full-time, ability to work additional overtime hours as needed.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more when required.
• Must lift 70-100 lbs by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move products up to 100 lbs.
• Work across six roles: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, Shipping.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with safety procedures.
