Job summary

NEFCO CORP. in Maryland seeks a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatching delivery trucks for construction materials. You will support receiving and shipping, use the ERP system, and work on a Sunday-Thursday night shift.

The role requires attention to safety, accuracy in cycle counts, and ability to operate forklifts and RF devices. OT is available based on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software system.
• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides general assistance, including pulling and staging orders.
• Performs bin location maintenance.
• Performs tasks to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Assists in conducting cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Attends safety training and meetings; follows rules and regulations.
• Performs forklift inspections and completes reports, forklift operation.
• Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel.
• Receiving and Shipping tasks as needed: verify inventory against POs; receive inventory into ERP; stage inventory; pick using RF technology; pack goods; load trucks.
