Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order packing for construction materials. The role involves dispatching delivery trucks and working in a team-focused warehouse environment.

The position requires operation of forklifts, RF-based picking, and adherence to safety guidelines. Overtime is possible as NEFCO schedules vary and shift coverage is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software system.
• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provides general assistance, including pulling and staging orders.
• Performs bin location maintenance.
• Keeps warehouse safe, organized and clean.
• Attends safety training and meetings; follows rules and regulations.
• Performs forklift inspections and completes reports.
• Communicate consistently with management and branch personnel.
• Verify inventory against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Receive inventory into the NEFCO ERP system.
• Staging/Shelving inventory and using RF to pick orders.
• Pack goods following NEFCO procedures and load trucks in sequence.
