Job summary

Scaffold Resource in Maryland, Lanham, is seeking a Night Shift Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move materials within yards, warehouses, and on job sites, ensuring efficiency and safe handling. Responsibilities include operating forklift equipment, inspecting for maintenance issues, assisting with inventory counts, keeping areas tidy and compliant with OSHA regulations, and communicating clearly with supervisors.

Night hours are 1:30pm to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification required.
• Flagger certification or plan to obtain required.
• Experience with battery-powered pallet jacks is a plus.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• State driver’s license active; security requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed.
• Stack and organize materials in yard, warehouse, and jobsite.
• Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance issues.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking.
• Ensure materials are secured properly for transport.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Assist with general labor duties on job sites as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
