Job summary

US Foods in Woodburn, OR is hiring Warehouse Team Members for night shift. You will safely select customer orders, build pallets, and meet daily productivity and accuracy standards.

This role includes overtime, incentive pay, shift differential, and freezer premium, with comprehensive benefits and training. Night schedule usually Sun–Thu, with 4:30–5:30 PM start times and occasional weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, and enter information on reports as needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sun–Thu; weekends/holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and build pallets to weekly standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate correct product and damage-free condition.
• Deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles, remove empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.

JOIN OUR WAREHOUSE TEAM!

SCHEDULE : Night Shift

Sun -Fri availability

4:30-5:30 PM start times

Work until finished with nightly orders

We help you make it! Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $30.01/hour.

As applicable, this role will also receive:

• overtime compensation

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
