Job summary

US Foods is hiring for a warehouse order selector in Salem, MO. You will safely pick customer orders, build pallets, and utilize order‑selecting software to ensure accuracy and productivity during night shifts. The role includes pallet moves, dock delivery, and maintaining clean aisles with team collaboration.

The position requires endurance for multi‑temperature environments and the ability to lift 20–80+ lbs repeatedly, with 1,000+ cases per shift. Benefits and OT may apply.

Qualifications

• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday through Thursday. At times weekends and holidays may be required.
• Recent experience (within the past 6 months) in a high‑endurance or highly physical activity or role such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large‑scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre‑shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order‑selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that the correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink‑wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots in aisle, and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Location: Salem, MO

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday. Start time: 5 PM until finish. Avg 14–16‑hour shifts.

Starting Pay: $22.94 per hour.
