Job summary

US Foods is hiring for a Warehouse Team Member to join our distribution operations. Starting pay is $28.45 per hour, with overtime and incentive pay based on productivity and quality.

Position requires working nights (Sunday–Thursday) in a multi-temperature environment, lifting 20–80+ lbs, and accurate order processing using our select software and equipment. You will safely assemble and wrap pallets, perform equipment checks, and ensure damaged-free, on-time deliveries to the correct dock.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high-endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Main Ingredients of the Job

Physical Requirements

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $28.45 /hr. This role will also receive overtime and incentive compensation based on productivity and quality.
