Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Team member to safely select customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and support efficient distribution operations in our Texas facility.

You will lift up to 80+ lbs, work 8+ hour night shifts (Sun–Thu with rotating Fridays), and operate pallet jacks and order-picking equipment. Safety and teamwork are central to our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings and follow safety instructions.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday–Thursday with rotating Fridays.
• Experience in high-endurance or highly physical work is preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale warehouse orders is preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and build pallets.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks.
• Move products from racks to pallets and verify correct items.
• Deliver palletized orders to the correct dock and shrink wrap as needed.
• Keep aisles clear and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracyPerform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric palletCarefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipmentValidate that correct product has been selected and is damage freeEfficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized ordersTeam up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging areaPhysical RequirementsComfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees requiredAbility to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift requiredWhat You Bring to the TableMust be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if neededAble to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday with rotating Friday shifts (partial-day coverage as needed).
