Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Receiver for our Longmont, CO location. You will verify inbound products, ensure saleable condition, and manage the dock's inbound flow.

The role operates Sunday–Thursday nights, with a pay rate of $21.00–$27.50 per hour and benefits starting after 60 days. The position requires attention to product condition, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably have previous receiving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Examine condition of product as it arrives from various carriers.
• Document overages/shorts/damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, evidence of pest infestation or tampering.
• Direct carriers and unloaders on sorting and segregation of product.
• Follow and maintain product integrity per McLane Company standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders, and assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed.
• Comply with company work and safety rules.
• Continually meet assigned production standards.
• Maintain quality to limit mispicks, shorts and damages.
• Follow directions.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Be trained and certified to operate required equipment within 30 days after hire.
• Comply with attendance policy.
• Maintain a flexible schedule for DC needs (early/late/weekend shifts).
• Work in temperatures 38°F to 110°F.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above head for two hours+.
• Willingness to load/unload and/or deliver all products.
