Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse in Massachusetts is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals. You will read orders and schedules, move materials between receiving, storage and loading, operate an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift, and ascend a cherry picker in a safety harness.

A GED or high school diploma is required, with related experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Moves materials from receiving/production to storage or other areas.
• Sorts and breaks down product by SKU and type.
• Assembles orders and prepares shipments, labeling pallets as needed.
• Communicates with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators and follows safety practices.
