Job summary

Mike Hudson Dist is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse activities, including picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain inventory integrity.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and breaks down product by SKU, quantity and product type.
• Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
• Frequent to ascend 25 ft on cherry picker in a safety harness.
• Communicate with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, & Forklift Operators.
• Adhere to safety practices for truck and trailer pull process daily.
• Sort and store goods in designated areas of the warehouse.
• Handle company issued equipment, including PPE, voice equipment etc.
• Report all safety concerns in the work environment promptly.
• Wear company issued uniform.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or move orders to loading dock to prepare for shipping.
• Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers when necessary.

About you:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
