Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving to meet productivity and quality goals. You will read schedules, move materials, and sort stock to designated areas in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating a pallet jack and stand-up forklift, communicating with drivers and receivers, and maintaining safety and accuracy in daily tasks. Prioritize quality and efficiency while following company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to move.
• Move materials from receiving/production to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and type.
• Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift as required.
• Communicate effectively with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators.
• Adhere to safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes daily.
• Sort and store goods in warehouse areas.
• Handle company equipment including PPE and voice devices properly.
• Report safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Wear company-issued uniform.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for shipping.
• Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
• Open bales, crates, and containers as needed.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
