Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in New Bedford, MA is seeking a forklift operator to manage pallets and stock in a fast-paced warehouse. You will use stand-up or sit-down forklifts to put away, rotate and drop pallets while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, replenishing upper racks, ensuring safety standards, and keeping docks clean. Prior forklift experience and a valid exam pass are required; team players thrive in a busy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years forklift experience.
• Ability to pass forklift operating exam.
• Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver forklift to put away or move pallets into racks up to 46 feet high.
• Picks, sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and pallet jacks.
• Move product from receiving dock to storage locations.
• Monitor and enforce safe product handling procedures.
• Record daily actions with RF Scan Gun.
