Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and distribute materials within our facilities. You will read production schedules, convey items to storage, and prepare customer orders for packing and shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include recording quantities, weighing items, and using a computer to maintain records. A high school diploma or GED is required and competitive benefits are offered, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move or store.
• Convey materials to storage or production areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks or bins following size, type, or product code.
• Store perishable goods in appropriate refrigerated spaces.
• Prepare orders for packing and shipping; assist in billing when needed.
• Record quantities and weights of materials received or distributed.
• Use computer to enter records and maintain accuracy.
