Job summary

Sysco Detroit, LLC is seeking an experienced night warehouse supervisor to oversee order selection, replenishment, loading and safety. You will lead the night crew and ensure efficient, compliant operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires attention to safety, budgeting labor hours, training staff, and coordinating with safety and quality teams to prevent loss and maintain food-service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, replenishment, loading and other warehouse functions.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts.
• Ensures proper utilization of company assets in support of the warehouse.
• Reviews night warehouse functions and productivity reports; suggests efficiency improvements.
• Conducts shipping/loading audits and ensures proper documentation (HAACP, food safety, catch-weight).
• Maintains sanitation and facility/racking condition; supports associate training and cross-training.
• Maintains regular communication with associates and drives engagement and accountability.
• Executes staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and terminations.
