Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2- or 4-year degree in Business/Logistics preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience in warehouse operations.
• Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months.
• Ability to read reports and communicate with managers and staff.
• Comfort with lifting up to 100 pounds and working in a non-traditional schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of night shift staff (order selectors, replenishment, loaders, forklift operators).
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Coordinates proper utilization of company assets and repairs as necessary.
• Reviews night warehouse functions and productivity reports; suggests efficiency ideas.
• Maintains accurate shipping and loading documentation and HAACP/food safety records.
• Monitors sanitation and facility/racking damage to ensure a safe, clean warehouse.
• Assists with training and cross-training of associates.
• Maintains associate relations through regular meetings and open communication.
• Supports safety with training, observations, investigations, and compliance with regulations.
