Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 or 4-year degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Powered industrial equipment certification required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, product replenishment, order loading, including all warehouse functions, selectors, loaders and night forklift operators.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Administers the proper utilization of Company assets in support of the warehouse.
• Coordinates required repairs with proper departments as necessary.
• Review night warehouse functions and productivity reporting; suggest efficiency ideas and assist with changes.
• Conducts shipping and loading audit daily with required documentation and proper handling to minimize loss.
• Monitor sanitation and facility/racking damage for safety and cleanliness.
• Aid training of new associates and cross-training of existing associates.
• Maintain associate relations and open communication; ensure policy compliance.
