Job summary

General Mills Hannibal Plant is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor (Team Leader) to provide logistics leadership for a world-class operation. The role oversees a 12.5 hour 2-2-3 shift schedule, focusing on safety, process rigor, training and direction to the team for excellent service to production departments.

The position emphasizes continuous improvement, people development and effective coordination with Quality, Operations, Planning and Maintenance to meet daily logistics goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 years’ logistics/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and change.
• Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Educate, develop and motivate a material handling team to achieve results and collaboration.
• Identify and lead safety improvement initiatives.
• Address safety concerns immediately.
• Provide leadership to meet department and plant goals daily.
• Conduct team meetings to communicate policy changes.
• Support raw material and finished goods cycle count programs.
• Foster relationships to involve others in creative problem solving.
