Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee and guide the crew under the warehouse manager's direction. You will maintain work areas, assist with shipping and receiving, and ensure safety and quality standards while keeping product flow efficient.

You will operate in a team setting, perform duties as assigned, and support the department and company with a proactive attitude. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environment (dry/cooler/freezer).
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain safe work areas.
• Prepare for operations with daily production paperwork.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Perform daily safety checks on forklift/pallet jack.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Assist warehouse crew in emergencies and non-emergency tasks.
• Perform packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift duties as needed.
• Provide oversight and input on work performed by associates.
• Maintain housekeeping and secure equipment at shift end.
