Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk for the night shift in New Jersey. You will coordinate clerical functions for day and night receiving, manage reports, and support outbound and inbound activities to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in a distribution clerical role, and proficiency with Excel and Word; SAP knowledge is preferred, with strong multitasking and communication skills to interact with all

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years of clerical experience in a distribution environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to multitask, and prioritize work.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Able to interact with all levels of management; work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Works with outbound monitor and replenishment screens daily and updates reports using SAP.
Track and monitor productivity and quality of drivers and material handlers.
Maintain day-to-day records on department operations and assist when Supervisor isn’t present.
Verify receiving packets, P.O.s, trailer numbers, cases and shortages; make adjustments as needed.
Prepare bills of lading for outbound movement and schedule in computer.
Fax and confirm loads, issue security seals for outbound trucks/trailers, and answer routing questions.
