Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch assets to locations per customer specs.
• Discuss issues with incoming dispatcher and drivers.
• Coordinate with supervisors and shop personnel for safe, timely departures.
• Relay special job instructions and safety concerns to drivers.
• Ensure on-time dispatch for time-sensitive jobs.
• Maintain accurate dispatch data in the system and logs.
• Collaborate with billing to ensure invoice accuracy.

Night VTD Dispatcher

Regular Full-Time Carthage, TX, US

Salary Range: $21.50 To $24.00 Hourly

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Vacuum Truck Dispatcher- 12-hour Day shift for our Carthage, TX location.

This position will be responsible for the safe scheduling and dispatch of company assets to appropriate locations, according to customer specifications. You must be able to multi-task. Must be service orientated, always focused on taking care of the customer and company personnel in efficient and respectful manor.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Discuss all job-related information coming up on the next shift with incoming dispatcher.
• Discuss any issues related to jobs, drivers, and equipment with incoming dispatcher.
• Work with supervisors and shop personnel to ensure employees and equipment leave the yard in a safe, timely and orderly manner.
• Communicate any special job instructions, driving directions, and safety issues to drivers and supervisors.
• Ensure drivers dispatched on time-sensitive jobs have enough time to get to the job site safely and on time.
• Ensure all information taken from customers, salesmen and supervisors is complete to do the job correctly.
• Ensure all information in dispatch system and logbook is accurate and correct.
• Ensure drivers are dispatched to jobs efficiently, effectively, and cost-effectively.
• Ensure all job information is set up correctly for the next shift in dispatch system.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 plus years’ experience of oilfield Vacuum Trucks Dispatch with multiple units.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience with Vacuum Trucks a plus.
