Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Vault Custodian in Moonachie, NJ to maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. You will work with a team to ensure accurate counts and secure handling of deposits and currency.

Hours are Mon through Fri, 5pm–3am, with a full-time schedule averaging 40–50 hours per week. A firearms permit or qualification is required, along with the ability to lift heavy items and meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with coworkers and to read receipts, manifests and reports.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing about 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Must meet State handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on deposits against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort individual cargo items by route.
• Communicate verbally with coworkers and customers via telephone.
