Job summary

Loomis US is hiring an Armed Vault Custodian to maintain inventory in our cash vaults and support Loomis customers. You will work with a team to ensure accurate counts and secure handling of deposits and cash.

Hours are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, full-time, typically 40–50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days in a 6-day period. Candidates may need a firearms permit or to meet firearms requirements.

Qualifications

• Able to load/unload currency bags weighing about 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Capable of lifting up to several hundred pounds with equipment.
• May be required to obtain firearms qualification or permit if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Verify bags/receipts against manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/coins.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
