Qualifications

• Medical Terminology and strong computer skills preferred.
• Hospital experience as a unit clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, visitors, and new admissions; schedules appointments.
• Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls; handles clerical tasks.
• Communicates with patients and healthcare team about care.
• Performs unit safety checks and assists with patient needs.
• Assists with meals, tray distribution, and patient transport; maintains cleanliness.
• May assist with stocking supplies and timekeeping as assigned.
