Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa’s Trauma Emergency Center - Yale Campus seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for the full-time night shift (7p–7a). You will administer nursing care under physician orders and the care plan, collect data, and collaborate with the RN to plan patient care.

Requirements include an Oklahoma LPN license, completion of a practical nursing program, 0–6 months of related experience, IV therapy as policy, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with valid Oklahoma license.
• Graduate of a practical nursing program or equivalent.
• 0–6 months related experience.
• Ability to perform IV therapy per hospital policy.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and implements/evaluates care per physician orders and Nursing Care Plan.
• Takes and notes physician orders accurately; collaborates with RN to plan care.
• Documents data on appropriate records and nursing process.
• Addresses patient problems and progress toward outcomes; supports discharge planning.
• Maintains compliance with care standards and unit requirements.
