Job summary

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of disease state management and clinical pathways.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and implements care for an assigned patient group based on physician orders and Nursing Care Plan.
• Takes and notes physician orders accurately; documents nursing process clearly and consistently.
• Facilitates patient teaching and discharge planning; performs nursing skills appropriate for the patient population.
• Provides care with attention to age and bio-psychosocial factors; supports unit goals and participates in education activities.
