Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Pensacola, FL is hiring a full-time Trash Technician at Baptist Hospital. The role collects, transports, and disposes of trash and bio-hazardous waste following safety protocols.

Typical shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Prior janitorial experience preferred; training is provided. A supportive team environment and competitive pay at $14 per hour are offered within our Environmental Services division.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
