Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time Trash Technician at Texas Health Bedford in Bedford, TX. The schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with details varying by interview. Willing to train is offered as a perk.

You will collect, transport, and properly dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols, and you may operate cleaning equipment as assigned. Safety awareness is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
