Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a Night Transportation Supervisor for the Capitol Heights, MD facility. You will oversee transportation activities, ensure efficiency and safety, and manage a large team of drivers and support staff.

You’ll coordinate routing, scheduling, and maintenance in collaboration with Penske, while maintaining regulatory compliance and meeting KPI targets. Regional knowledge and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of work experience in transportation or food distribution, including supervisory responsibilities and union work environments.
• DOT regulations, policies, and procedures (J)
• On-board computer systems (J)

Responsabilités

• Oversee all activities related to a facility’s transportation to meet efficiency, economy, quality and productivity targets.
• Lead and supervise a large team including hourly staff; manage department goals and performance.
• Coordinate training, development, and staffing in partnership with HR.
• Direct routing, manpower, and equipment scheduling to meet KPIs.
• Coordinate daily/monthly repairs and preventive maintenance for tractors and trailers with Penske to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, audit and manage the department budget and operating costs.
