Job summary

PAM Transport is seeking skilled trailer mechanics to join our team. You will perform accident damage repairs, PM maintenance, and aluminum/steel welding to keep trailers on the road. Shift is Sunday to Wednesday, 8pm–6:30am, and pay ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience.

Own basic tools and a strong mechanical skillset are encouraged. We offer Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, paid time off, and a supportive, equal-opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake system and axles on trailers.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.
