Job summary

PAM Transport is seeking a highly motivated tractor/trailer mechanic to join our team. This role performs accident damage repairs, PM maintenance on trailers, and welding to support nationwide freight operations.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 4:30pm with pay ranging from $24 to $28 per hour, based on experience. The successful candidate will bring at least one year of trailer/mechanical experience and basic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake systems and axles on trailers.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail.
• Own basic tools to perform required duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.
