Job summary
Variety Staffing is seeking a Trailer Repair Technician in Freehold, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have experience with welding (both Aluminum and Steel) and be knowledgeable in trailer repairs. Responsibilities include performing welding operations on trailers and using hand and air tools for repairs. A high school diploma is required, and candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications
Do you have experience welding (Aluminum and Steel), using air tools and have trailer repair knowledge?
Must be able to work independently and part of a team
Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th is required Must be reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, written direction, and work orders
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate clearly Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Trailer Repair Technician
The Trailer Repair Technician works in a fast-paced repair facility
The Trailer Repair Technician is responsible to perform a variety of welding and repair functions
The Trailer Repair Technician should be familiar and capable of using various types of welding equipment, air power, and hand tools
Use hand and air power tools to repair truck and trailer bodies
Perform welds (GMAW) on various materials such as steel, stainless, and aluminum using welding equipment
Weld positions include flat, horizontal, and overhead
Cut metal using shears, saw, plasma cutter and or other equipment
Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues, hydraulic issues, and repair structural damage to trailers
Operate air power and hand tools including grinders, floor jacks, impact gun, rivet gun, and Sawzall
Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to carry out assigned work
