Forward Air Corporation is seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join the maintenance team as a full-time employee in Brownsville, Texas. The role involves maintaining trailers, vehicles, and related mechanical equipment while complying with DOT regulations and company policies.

The candidate should have a valid driver's license, experience with trailer repair, and strong mechanical aptitude. Flexibility for extended hours and a professional demeanor to uphold the company image are required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate the status of mechanical equipment and trailers.
• Maintain equipment according to DOT regulations.
• Perform minor trailer repairs.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting and repairs.
• Conduct diagnostics and inspections to determine maintenance needs.
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
• Operate diagnostic instruments and a variety of hand, electric, and air-driven tools.
• Data entry in maintenance software to track repairs.
• Keep shop and company tools clean and in good working order.
• Other duties as assigned.
