Prime, Inc. is seeking a hard-working individual to inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on tractors and trailers for an overnight shift in Pittston Township, PA. Responsibilities include DOT inspections, tire and exterior checks, and refueling, with opportunities for growth within the company.

The position offers benefits and overtime opportunities; average pay is around $55,000 with top earners above $65,000, depending on performance and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Tractor mechanic, diesel mechanic, HVAC, lube technician or automotive technician experience would be great, but not needed. Training provided.

Responsabilités

• Inspect units entering and exiting the yard to ensure the mechanical compliance with DOT requirements.
• Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions.
• Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to restore operating condition.
• Ensures the timely and authorized movement of equipment.
• Refuels equipment as required.
• Tracks and accounts for all Fuel and Inspection Bay inventory.
