Prime, Inc. is seeking a diligent mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair tractors and trailers on a mid-shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 11am–11pm with every other Wednesday off) schedule.

The role includes DOT inspections, fuel management, and ensuring timely equipment movement in a high-volume yard. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to train.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to train and learn.
• Must pass a post-offer physical.

Responsabilités

• Inspect tractors and trailers for DOT compliance and safe operation.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments to restore operation.
• Refuel equipment and monitor fuel inventory.
• Ensure timely movement of equipment.
• Perform DOT inspections and inspect tires and exterior components.
