Job summary

Prime, Inc. is seeking a dependable overnight technician to inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on tractors and trailers to uphold the company’s safety and performance standards. You will work in the yard, ensuring DOT compliance and reliable operation.

Shifts are Wednesday through Saturday, 6pm–6am, with every other Wednesday off. Prime offers a strong benefits package including 401(k), insurance, generous time off, tuition reimbursement, growth opportunities, and the chance to advance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to train in tractor, diesel, HVAC or automotive tech if no experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units entering and exiting the yard for DOT compliance.
• Inspect tires, lights, and exterior components for safe operating conditions.
• Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore operation.
• Ensure timely and authorized movement of equipment.
• Refuel equipment as required.
• Track and account for Fuel and Inspection Bay inventory.
• Perform DOT Inspections.
• Lift and carry up to 105 lbs and push/pull up to 115 lbs.
