Job summary

Environment Control Southwest Ohio Incorporated is seeking a Floor Technician for a full-time role in Dayton, OH. You will perform professional floor care, including carpet cleaning, tile and hard-floor care, auto scrubbing, strip & wax, and buffing, to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

You’ll also handle fill-in cleaning, assist with special projects like exterior window cleaning and move-out cleanups, and document outcomes with before-and-after photos while coordinating with supervisors

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care: carpet cleaning, tile and hard-floor care, auto scrubbing, strip & wax, buffing.
• Provide fill-in cleaning as needed.
• Complete special projects: exterior window cleaning, construction clean-ups, tenant move-out cleaning, other cleaning tasks.
• Take before-and-after photos for quality control.
• Communicate with supervisors about building access and job concerns.
• Help resolve customer concerns as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain and report issues with equipment; assist with company vehicles.

FLOOR TECHNICIAN — FULL TIME

Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Annual equivalent: $37,440/year based on 40 hours/week

What You'll Do

• Perform professional floor care, including:

  • Carpet cleaning

  • Tile and hard-floor care

  • Auto scrubbing

  • Strip & wax

  • Buffing

• Provide fill-in cleaning as needed

• Complete special projects such as:

  • Exterior window cleaning

  • Construction clean-ups

  • Tenant move-out cleaning

  • Other specialty cleaning projects

• Take before-and-after photos for quality control

• Communicate with supervisors and managers regarding building access and job concerns

• Help resolve customer concerns as directed by your supervisor

• Properly use, maintain, and report issues with company equipment

• Assist with company vehicles and equipment as needed
