Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment.
• Maintains the telemetry system and reports malfunctions.
• Documents all EKG rhythm strips with patient details.
• Ensures alarms are active with correct parameters.
• Assists physicians and hospital staff with patient location and charts.
• Transcribes orders accurately into the CERNNER system and maintains records.
• Responds to patient and caller needs and coordinates information.
