Qualifications

• Experience as a Monitor Tech or telemetry observer for adult patients.
• Ability to recognize dysrhythmias and document tracings accurately.
• Completion of monitor technician surveillance program/course required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients.
• Promptly notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias.
• Operate and utilize monitoring system to full capacity.
• Ensure proper and safe functioning of telemetry equipment.
