Banner Health is seeking a WIS Surgical Technologist to join our Labor and Delivery Unit in Queen Creek, Arizona. The role requires surgical technologist experience and meticulous instrument handling to support the surgical team.

Schedule: Nights, 6pm-6:30am, with at least two shifts per scheduling period. Banner Health offers competitive wages, orientation, and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State regulatory agency registration where applicable.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work in stressful emergent situations.
• Conscientious, organized, and able to respond quickly to surgeon/patient needs.
• Willingness to stay abreast of field developments.

Responsibilities

• Selects and places surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery.
• Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during procedures.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout procedures.
• Assists with OR turnover and stocking of supplies.
• May provide administrative support to the department as needed.
