Job summary

A dedicated Support Worker role is available at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Halstead. You will empower adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs to live life their way, supporting independence and personal goals with compassionate care.

Job description

Location: Blamsters Farm, Halstead, CO9 1LR

Hours: Full-time 42 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)

Pay: £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)

About the Service

The Green is a 8-bed residential service supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs and down syndrome. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going to cafes, the cinema, museums and swimming helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health needs to live life their way.

You’ll:

Support independence and personal goals

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings

Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing

Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure

Entry Level – £12.71 per hour

NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour

NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour
