Sweeping Corporation of America in Richmond, VA is hiring an Overnight Street Sweeper to operate our night shift fleet. You’ll manage routes, drive a street sweeper, and perform routine safety inspections and material handling to keep streets clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience; waste & recycling experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B and DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Compliance: Must pass MVR check, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Execution: Review routes and complete jobs within timeframes.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate the street sweeper and comply with safety rules.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and dispose per site procedures.
• Reporting: Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Professional Communication: Interact professionally with team, supervisors, and clients.
• Compliance & Documentation: Complete required logs and forms.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond to changes and solve issues timely.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: Be on time and present for shifts.
