Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring for an Overnight Street Sweeper (CDL B) in Middle River, MD. You will drive a street sweeper on a 3rd shift schedule, perform inspections, and ensure safe, compliant operation on assigned routes.

We offer a safety-first environment with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay. Candidates must have a CDL-B, DOT medical card, 1 year DOT driving experience, and be at least 21 years old. Minimal travel required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED as baseline education.
• 1 year DOT driving experience; waste & recycling experience preferred.
• CDL-B license and DOT Medical Card required; must be 21+ and have clean MVR/background.

Responsibilities

• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Review routes, complete jobs within allocated time while maintaining quality.
• Operate street sweeper safely and comply with traffic laws and site protocols.
• Handle materials safely and dispose per guidelines.
• Report equipment issues, near misses or injuries promptly to management.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors, teammates and clients.
• Accurately complete required logs, manifests and forms.
• Adapt to changing conditions and maintain dependable attendance.
• Maintain consistent, on-time attendance and reliability for shifts.
