Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring an Overnight Street Sweeper for full-time work at 10958 Guilford Rd, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701. The 3rd shift role offers $21-$22 per hour with minimal travel.

As Street Sweeper, you’ll operate the specialized street sweeping equipment, perform safety inspections, and complete routes on time while following company procedures and safety rules. CDL-B license and DOT Medical Card are required, along with a clean driving record and background check.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience; waste & recycling experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B and DOT Medical Card required.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Must pass MVR, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate the street sweeper on assigned routes to keep streets clean and well-maintained.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Promptly report equipment issues, injuries, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors, teammates, and clients.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
