Job summary

Walmart in Longmont, CO is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team, hire and mentor hourly associates, set expectations, and foster a culture of belonging while upholding Walmart's Open Door policy.

You will drive store performance through budgeting, merchandising, inventory control and customer service initiatives, ensuring compliance and implementing action plans to reduce shrink and grow sales.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store teams, hire, train, and mentor associates.
• Set expectations, provide feedback, and promote a culture of belonging.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to drive store profitability.
• Manage merchandising, inventory flow, and customer service initiatives.
• Develop and implement action plans to reduce shrink and improve operations.
